New Projects in our Vineyards
Terraces planted with the Malbec and Pinot Noir varieties in March 2000. Before the plantation process, the land needs to be thoroughly prepared. This is a long and expensive process, but necessary to achieve the quality we want for our wines.
Terraces planted with the Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties in March 2000. The climatic conditions of the vineyard are exceptional and allow the production of a very high quality grape which is basic for our excellent vinification work and will obtain high praise from wine critics around the world. This recognition motivates us to keep on working.
Our best wines are elaborated with the grape we get from stocks planted in a very harsh terroir.
This photo shows the last step of the Syrah variety stock planting process. The water supply is essential for the stock to properly take root in such harsh and stony lands. Rotllan Torra makes a real effort to obtain the maximum quality and efficiency out of every single process of the wine elaboration, just until the product is completely finished and ready for you to enjoy it.
