FERMENTATION

A combination of technology and tradition

Stainless steel tanks for the Amadís alcoholic fermentation. The malolactic fermentation takes places in new Allier and Nevers oak Bordeaux-type casks (a high quality new French oak). This wine can be found in the most prestigious restaurants in over 50 countries. These wines are the result of many years of hard work by Rotllan Torra’s young, professional and demanding team.

Stainless steel tanks for the fermentation of red wines: Rotllan Torra, Reserva and Balandra. Tirant’s two fermentations (alcoholic and malolactic) are carried out in new French oak casks. The fermentation is a very delicate process that determines the quality of wine. Our facilities and equipment allow us to ferment at a constant temperature of 28 degrees, which guarantees the high quality of our wines.

Thanks to the several vinification techniques, Rotllan Torra’s wines have great colour, aroma, constitution, tonality and complexity. In fact, personality is one of Rotllan Torra’s wines’ characteristics.
The use of noble materials also contributes to the quality of our wines. This picture shows the ever new casks that let us consolidate and improve the quality of our wines, both red and sweet.
